is it absolutely necessary to use new bolts, washers, and nuts? can you get away with just putting a little thread locker on them? i need to get this done and really dont want to make a trip to the dealer

this is EXACTLY why i'd never take my Z to the dealership for service... this shows how poorly their techs are trained... truly, how hard is it to follow pre-typed documentation?!

Yes. Read at the Service Bulletin. Its a complete kit.
