Default CLUTCH QUESTION - Help plz

hi,

Okay, i did search and a read a ton...im looking for someone with experience that can help me on this..

My Z is stock other than a few mods....exhaust and K&N filter as far as power is concerned... Im Drifting the car at local events and AutoX as well...

my clutch is slipping so i need to know a few things....

1. Can i purchase just a stock disc and replace it being that is about all i need, resurface the fly and get back going??

2. can i purchase just a JWT clutch and pressure plate and resurface the fly and rock and roll?

3. Can i purchase just an ACT street disk and resurface the fly and rock and roll?? can the stock pressure plate handle that or will i start slipping again cause of the disc is too strong and the plate cant handle it???

what do you guys recommend for my power level and such....

as far as future. i am staying stock for a long while when it comes to engine mods...

Jason - to answer your questions in order

1. Maybe - no one can tell you if its just your disk, or your pressure plate too, till the clutch is out of the car (that means tranny out too). At that point, you mind as well fit a new pressure plate as well. A new disk on a worn pressure plate = clutch slippage returns in no time

2. yes
