5AT to Manual tranny swap
i have a 350z coupe originally with a 5AT.
i bought the manual transmission ('04 12k miles) and the new ECU for a total of $1500.
i then sold my automatic transmission and ECU for about $1200.
i will be doing this with 3 other people.
supposedly people say its not worth doing a tranny swap because of the money issues, but i think its just because of labor. If you know how to do the labor yourself, then all you need to worry about is paying for the parts.
what are your opinions?
