Default Help me diagnose...

OK...so i've been driving an 07 Z for a few months now. Early on, I had a few weird things happen (regardig the clutch, engine, etc) that at those moments, thought "that was weird / odd" and just chalked it up to getting used to the car / clutch / trans. Later on, I came across some of the tranny threads / problems with the 07. Read every last one (i think). Of course, I've thought back to those weird things mentioned above and thought, maybe that was the start as some things seemed like they might be similar to what others reported.

Today, I'm driving along and am about to shift from 2nd to 3rd (iirc) so I depress the clutch pedal before shifting as usual. This time, however, the clutch feels very soft / easy to push where usually it is much more stiff. I was expecting it to "stick" to the floor but continued through my shift and engagement as normal without thinking twice (no hesitation, etc). Continued driving, no problem, no odditie, no stuck pedal, etc. My next shift, everything seemed normal. Clutch felt stiff again.

Based on this, my question(s) is, with the sticking clutch thing, how long does it stay stuck? Could that have been it or is it usually longer? Has anyone else experienced this?

I know this has been discussed to death but I'm really not sure if I'm just being paranoid or if I'm in the beginning stages of the problem as I really don't know how I can truly diagnose the problem. The things that happened early on seem like the could be very similar to what others have described and then what happened today.

Is there any real way to diagnose the problem and know for sure?

I ultimately just want to drive and enjoy the car rather than trying to think about and feel every little thing but it's kind of hard knowing that I will most likely face thisproblem sooner or later. At the same time, I probably won't be able to put my mind at ease until i know how to recognize the problem for sure.
