I always wondered what caused that knock sound from 2nd to 3rd. Makes sense now. I haven't really worried about it, since it's done that from day 1, and I haven't had a problem with it yet.

so i would be a "pvssy" because i bought a AT saving myself a considerable amount of money? case in point...looked at two LSS '03 with near equal mileage, and the MT was 7k more.

now....i don't track...i don't go to a strip...but i do love the Z. I also was planning on building a house, getting engaged, etc. some people have reasons they get at AT...some also have an education.

about the AT vs MT times....am i dreaming that there was an actual time slip on here at one time? can't seem to find it. i actually would be curious.

I got the same issue...2nd to 3rd is rough sometimes...I took it to the stealership today and of course they said nothing is wrong...after reading all the posts I guess there is nothing wrong...the shop supervisor tried to offer up some reasons as to why it may do it, but none explained the way it was above...he mostly tried to accredit it to the aftermarket work on my Z...

i got the same issue and so does everyone else I know with auto Zs. Just be happy noone really has tranny issues unlike the 6mt group
