For those that have the JWT clutch can you tell me the difference? I'm thinking about upgrading but I definitely do not want something heavier than my already heavy (IMO) '04 clutch. Thanks.

Edit: I'm talking about the force required to push down the clutch pedal, not the weight of the actual clutch/flywheel (I know it's lighter).

You have a G though, and your clutch is lighter. My brother has an 04 g35c and he was complaining about how heavy my Z's clutch was.

I just went with the jwt clutch and flywheel, the clutch feels a lot easier and I do a LOT of stop and go traffic.

 

I am in the same boat...i want a lighter clutch in my 04. If I replace with an newer model Z will that change the hydraulic pressure needed?

 

Just go with the JWT, you will be very happy with it....I have yet to install one that the owner didn't like

 

Ok so this will feel similar to an 05 clutch? Also do you suggest the flywheel..like i said alot of stop and go traffic as i am driving to sales meetings all day..

I took for granted you were inquiring about the complete unit---The 14 LB JWT FW is easy to drive in all traffic.....It is almost half the weight of the OEM FW which is 28 LBs

 

Yes it is heavy to me...i drive my bro's 06 and find it better...as i am due for a new one why not try to solve the problem..

 

so i see no ACT clutch kit and fw was mentioned in this thread... does anyone have experience with it? how is it compare to stock? is it easier to drive in shifting and engagement-wise.
