Default Exedy Clutch for 05Z

Does anyone have the exedy stage 2 clutch for the 05z? My stock clutch is starting to slip and I need a new one so i decided to get an aftermarket one. Any suggestions? Thanks to all in advance!

Exedy (also known as Daiken) makes OE clutchs for TONS of cars, but that doesn't mean it's the same as an Exedy Stage 2. HUGEEEEE difference. Please do your research.

As for ACT, I'm not a huge fan. I ran two different ACT clutches in my last car (1 unsprung 6 puck, and 1 sprung 3 puck) and both of them had terrible chattering after a few thousand miles. I broke them in properly and what not but they still gave me annoying problems. Also, I had my ACT pressure plate balanced and they had to weld on quite a bit of weight to one side to balance it out. One thing I did like, however, was the pressure plate. It had great clamping force and the pedal feel was perfect (imo).

I am by NO means saying all ACT clutches are like this, I'm just stating my experience with it.

Please go with Exedy. I've never had ANY issues with their clutches after numerous track events. There's a reason why majority of the top car companies use them to manufacture their OEM clutches

Exedy Stage II is what I use on my Honda and love it, keep in mind the lifetime on these clutches isn't much. For my honda, I got about 20,000 miles and it started slipping. I talked with customer service at Exedy and they even said if you get over 15,000 you are lucky. For longevity you might want to get another stock clutch, if you have the torque, get a stage II, but keep in mind the amount of miles.

dang, Im really interested in the exedy stage II, but if they said the longevity is only about 15K miles, its kinda changing my mind... I want a performance clutch and flywheel, but i dont wanna spend another thousand and two in like a year or two
I was also thinking about hte JWT clutch and flywheel, but then again my car is stock only with jwt pop charger. Any suggestions on the JWT?

i got an excedy clutch kit a few months ago and burnt out the clutch by dropping it in second gear to get the *** out round the corners easier... replaced with ogura twin plate and no problems
