im looking to upgrade my stock block in order to get underway on my TT project. i have been looking for a titanium vq block...cant find anyone who will do a custom job for me...so the best i can find is the upgraded cosworth aluminum block. found it for around 7800 on stillen.com.


will this be sufficient to get started on my TT project with all the internals upgraded as well...or is there something im not seeing...i.e. a titanium block somewhere??

Titanium! Nice! I would just get the Unobtanium or magnesium upgrade and go for broke.

 

However, if you were serious and had the $100,000+ it would more than likely cost for a titanium block to be made from billet contact Matsuura Japan.

 

You guys are such haters, I have a titanium block, and I could care less about the power gains, I just like the prtty colors it changes. You may ask how can I afford this, and I reply I am a man of power, I make more money than anyone on this forum

It was a stock mid 90s civic hatch. He did a long *** burnout, then ran a 18. They were little baby slicks though but it was damn funny.

 

Maybe with practice, a few bolt-ons, and some stickers, he can be in the low 17's lol
