will this be sufficient to get started on my TT project with all the internals upgraded as well...or is there something im not seeing...i.e. a titanium block somewhere??
Why do you want a titanium block? A regular VQ block built with Darton sleeves can handle 800+whp. What are you trying to accomplish?

I dont even think titanium would make a good block to begin with....Titanium is light but doesnt it become brittle when it is heated up....not sure but thats what I thought could be wrong.

Titanium is brittle in comparison to some other alloys but is still strong. Nother issue could be galling since every fastner you put in the block would need special anti-sieze.

Oooohhhhhhhhh Yes.

Ti is horrible when it comes to siezing/galling onto screws and taps.

Ti is like metallic bubble gum. It strong but sticks to everything and makes difficult problems.

Lol.

Even better is how MRC pointed out that all their customers cars were 700+whp on the stock fuel system and they only had 600whp on their yellow 350z with an aftermarket fuel system.

OP:

I have to laugh because threads like this are why you get responses that are flaming you. Especially when you posted your RANT thread ( https://my350z.com/forum/the-lounge-off-topic/294757-rant.html )

If only every one had a copy of the galvanic scale to look at. That's why I laugh at people who put Ti lugnuts on their steel studs. Cars that use Ti lugs have dry-lubed Ti studs installed in the hub for a reason!

Will (makes gutteral groning sound at thoughts of ricer fanboys touting their cool jdm Ti lug nuts on stock steel studs)
