My buddy just made these new grounding kits, comes with 4 gauge Stinger wire and Stinger ring terminal that can be either platinum or gold plated.

The whole thing costs about $125 bucks.
Don't know if it is better than the gold plated ones or not but I do feel a kick when I am shifting and I sometimes slip shifting from 1st to 2nd gear.

Yeah I did the same, used stinger expert (silver) wire and stinger plantinum compression lug with black boots. total cost (including crimpers) was about 60 bux. was going to get the expensive lug like you guys, but figure not really worth it since its only ground and not power. works great my idle RPM went down to 1250 from 1500, after about 2 months its dropped down to 500.
