I had the pedal stuck to the floor issue, had my slave cylinder replaced at around 5000 miles - no problems since.

Default clutch problem

i just bought my 2007 z 2 weeks ago, it has only 650 miles. I notice my clutch did not came completly up when I release at over 4000 rpm, today the car had to be tow to the dealer cause it would not move at all. has any one experience this, is it normal in the z tha the clutch wont come back up if u take off in high rpms or double clutch?

same thing happened to me. took it the dealer and they "fixed it" after a bout a week it went backl to doing the same thing. But at least this time it doesnt go all the way down. normally just pump the clutch pedal couple times with my foot all the way down and pulling all the way up with my foot. I talked to my friend said had a similar problem in another car. said he fixed it with high perf. brake fluid and steel clutch line. im gonna try that next.

so you saying tha nissan wont completly fix the problem. this really sucks, i trade in a mazda rx8 wich was not supposely as fast as the Z. but it seen like I went from bad to worse. i dont know who you acted to the problem but i dont want to go out there and have to buy custom parts to fix a brand new car. and i just bout the nismo intake for this damm car.

Just a FYI for you all... this problem has also been occuring on the 06's.
My clutch master is being replaced under warranty -- not sure if this will fix it but I only had this problem when everything is running hot and I'm taking off at high RPM's.
When master is replaced, I'm having them put in a SS braided clutch line at same time. I'll switch to hi-temp fluid before next summer.

so basicaly we are screw... is anybody doing something about this issue? my car wont be ready for about a week, and if the clutch wont come up on high rpm, I'll step on it againg and have then fix it 100 times till they say enough, and do sh*t the right way. I bought a sport car we paying over 30 thousand dollars, i cant live knowing i cant race my car because of a factory clutch issue.

no major issues but now when shifting the engagement is almost too smooth where i'm not sure it's fully engaged.. so either i've burned my 07 with 4k mile's clutch pretty badly...or i'm just becoming a better driver maybe i'm just so used to jerking slightly when shifting that good driving feels weird to me hahaha

I had my slave cylinder replaced and last weekend my clutch fell to the floor and stayed there till I popped it up with my foot. The smell was horrible and still lingers, can't tell if its burnt rubber or clutch, but anyway it seems to be OK now,

just sucks because Nissan is fixing the issue by replacing the defective part with another one. Only a matter of time. The tech said there may be a re-designed part in all 07s future. we'll see I just hope it doesn't happen while piulling out in traffic, a real safety issue if you ask me.
