Click in rear
Hi everybody,
I just bought a 2003 touring with an automatic tranny (31,200mi). I know there are alot of these threads but all I see are 6 MT. It happens when i shift from park to reverse and if I am stopped then punch it, there is no other clicking.
any ideas? thanks

its the axels. they need to be greased, take it to the dealer they will know what to do and you can get it covered under power train if you make a stink about it and show them everything with documnation. or if you make to much of a stink they will do it for free like my dealer when they wouldent cover it under power train
There is a couple bolts you need to get replaced and they use a different lube for them...
I had mine done under warranty.. It made a clicking noise.... ITs a TSB...Hope that helps

The bolts are somewhere on the Axle I beleive. I just heard about the technical service bulletin and brought it in after I noticed the clicking... They fixed it under warranty.... Its like 4 new bolts and a different lubrication for them so they dont click....
I know there is a post on here about it, try searching.... Good luck
