Default Installed UR Pulleys

Today I picked up my car where I had the 3 peice (polished) pulley kit from UR installed. Prior to that I had the Injen CAI and Stillen exhaust. I have a 5AT and have been somewhat dissapointed with the lack of power my Z has been putting out. My car has 2700 miles and has the typical first model year issues

Today I had my first real smile since I bought the car. During the install my dealer gave me a new V6 Altima as a loaner. I remember thinking yesterday how fast the Altima was and that maybe it was as fast as my Z? Well today my Z got a much needed boost. The Altima is noticeably slower now. My Z feels significantly faster with the pulleys. The difference is more dramatic than the exhaust and CAI combined. No dynos yet but the weather is very hot and the car is running like a champ. It actually chirps a little when manually shifting As far as vibration is concerned, there is nothing noticable. I do see the volt meter slightly down. When I first bought the car the needle stayed at 15. Now it is 14 and drops between 13-14 when I turn everything on full. IE radio to 15, AC to auto and turn on my brights.

Overall this is the best mod yet IMO. And for the price it can't be beat. Feel free to email me with any other questions.

Nice nice, I am waiting for my Veilside side underwings before I install. Taking a while to get. Would you happen to have any pictures? I only seen polished at a glance but it looked pretty sweet. Good to hear the power is noticable, good mod for the cash.

I'm seriously concidering this mod, and from your post I can see it's what I would like but,
Where did you get it installed?
How long did they kept your car?
Is it too difficult to do so?
Does it void any warranties?
How does it look like (pics would be apreciated)?

Too many question but I had to ask

Thanks
Ricardo

The dealer where I purchased my car installed them. It took 1.5 hours for the 3 piece install. Email me at whosdady@aol.com if you would like some pics. Polished and Black were my two choices.

I'm not positive about the warranty? UR has a limited warranty and the dealer has an install warranty so I think I am pretty safe. Plus the dealer would need to prove the problem was casued by the pulleys. I would be surprised if anything were to happen from this mod. I know there have been some pretty lengthy discussions about this but I had them on my previus supra with 600HP and had no problems. I might begin to worry if I had more than 600HP as I'm sure the vibration becomes greater UR has been in this business for over 10 years. I'm sure they have not gained such success by destroying engines.

I will let you know if I experience any problems. Only positive effects so far.
