Thottle body spacer - Gimmick or real deal?
Here is an overlay of Baseline with reset and TBS with reset.
And even if baseline dynod higher, its easy to see its only an artifact of the ECU. The stock ECU is messy.
Conclusion: The TBS does nothing up or down.

It clearly shows a gain... but I only need to look at it 3 seconds to know the ECU is up to its old tricks.
I know what a breather mod looks like and I know what ECU adjusted timing looks like. The gains shown here are ECU timing adjustments.
But there is more...

Guys please. This isn't something worth a flame war.
Put it where it belongs. There are plenty of places that purpously and actively try to rip people off. Save it for them.

Note that the results are actually higher than with the TBS.
Do I think the TBS actually looses power? No, not at all. There isn't enough TBS to make any difference... Let alone lose power.
Its the damn ECU shifting variables all around. Notice within this set that there are two completely different sets of plots. Even though nothing on the car has changed.
This is classic behavior of the ECU.
And this is why I'm installing a MoTec!

Appreciate teh time and effort it took to get those dyno sheets up. Were these the 2 year old dynos? Amazing how you accessed those so fast.

Whoa thread explosion!!
Hey Tony... no I have not actually tried it on my car, didn't mean to make it sound like I have first hand info.
Maybe when it supposedly made power on Shawn's car it was simply an intake temperature (or timing) phenomenon. He had no reason to lie to me as he was not trying to sell me on one, and I believe I actually did see the dyno...
In any case, if you've extensively tested them and saw that they don't do anything, I'd take your word for it over Shawn's
