Because that would be pretty crappy for me to promote other sites wouldn't it?... you are relentless... yet you make no effort other than staying in 1 or 2 threads continuing your tirades (which combined with 2 others is why the review thread was deleted)…

You asked 5 times for pictures of the product and 3 times I told you to look on the first post of the thread where pictures of it had been since day 1 - and it is nothing like the Helix that you keep convincing people of.

I don’t make the product (like you imply), I don’t get free mods (as you stated) for posting a review of the product... virtually everything you mention is inaccurate.

 

and I explained that the "documented" info I had would pit 2 reputable sources (that everyone in the VQ community knows) against 1 other reputable source (that everyone also knows) against each other... and I wasn’t about to feed that fuel to your fire.

However I did ask you to note the multiple users that have the product and the reviews they were giving... unfortunately you basically deemed all those people as not credible... so I let you know that dynos exist in other areas... however you would rather go on and on in one forum and bash the boatloads of info that was given.

I think those that followed the history of how this thing started will realize that the bs being spewed here is nothing more than last minute assumptions.

I see you decided to chime in after the other thread showing the profanity you threw at others was all deleted.

 

Something tells me Tony, Shawn, and DaveO wish they'd had never come across a thing known as a throttle body spacer because all their reputations are on the line now. I bet you feel the same way, Mike. This stuff has blown up in your face and has taken a turn you probably weren't expecting.

 

All I see in that post is dyno of a single baseline pull and then one with the TBS. Without multiple pulls to normalize conditions to show a steady baseline, and a steady increase, I would hardly call that verified proof of anything. SergEK ~13hp peak gain, similar to your 10hp gain that tony attributed to the ECU. Couldn't that be a result of the ECU also? ssnake86 didn't see any gains on the same day, with the same mod, why was that? While I agree that its somewhat ludicrous for them to ask you to gather all the data, I have reviewed all the links you posted, and looked at all the dynos in those threads. I haven't seen any verified proof that this mod works. That is my take on it, hopefully you don't view me as a "troublemaker" since I surely haven't asked for anything out of the ordinary, and haven't pestered you about anything here or g35driver. That is my take on the situation.

Because you want the jet either immediately following the MAF, or on each individual runner on the manifold. The throttle body spacer puts it too close to the neck of the plenum and may not deliver a consistant mixture to all cylinders.

 

Exactly. I know OCG35 thinks that I don't research this stuff, but I did review the thinks he posted and the ones I could find on here and Driver. If the mod makes a gain on one car, it should surely make a similiar gain, assuming similiar mods, on another car. These ECUs don't behave that differently from car to car that one ECU welcomes the modification while the other ECU says GTFO The MD spacers have shown consistent gains across NA VQ35s, why doesn't this mod?

 

This is a spillover thread from a diffrent forum that was closed/locked/deleted or what ever. It is only a diffrent outlet to complain and is not benifitting any one except to b!tch and complain about an issue on a totaly diffrent site.

#1 – no one is selling anything… it was a review… some people inquired, I out together a GB, a few people missed the GB and there were some units slated for retailers for testing and a couple of people got one after the GB… this unit isn’t even retailed so there was no push for selling… if you followed the link I posted about it’s history you would understand that. But I realize comprehension isn’t your strong point.

#2 – it’s interesting that you didn’t go on your tirade in any of these threads (linked below)… hmmm – seems like someone has an agenda, and it has nothing to do with warning people of the big bad throttle body spacer.
