I had a chance to do this awhile back with a 2jz with a GT-88 BPU built supra motor i bought for almost 7k off of a friend. I ended up selling the motor and keeping my money and getting engaged. PRIORITIES...

I actually met the guy who owns the car because i bought something from him a few months ago......cool guy

He decided to part it out and sell the car because the tranny mounts broke while pushing it in low boost (if i remember correctly). He said the shop did a bunch of things wrong and things constantly needed to be fixed. When the mounts went he was fed up with the car so he scrapped it. He said it was crazy fast when it ran right but he never got a good high boost tune.

 

That's a shame.

I saw it at the Tampa Best Buy one weekend when we all got together over there... It was pretty hot...

Guys Im the owner of the car i was going to part it out. The honest truth is that XAT wasnt the best choice i made to get it done the owner was very shady in ways. But back to the present **** did go downhill with the wner and i i just told him to finish the dam car so i could pick it up and fix whatever **** had not been fixed and correct whatever had not been corrected the car wasnt completely done still had bugs which when you pay for a swapped car you expect to get a car that runs correct not as oem but the most near. Well the car wasnt their yet.

I brought the car back down to miami and started to work out the bugs here and their little overheating issues small sounds here and their intercooler pipes blowing off high idles car running pig rich ac leaking the refrigerant sensors not connected the list goes on. Anyways once im about to be done with all the bugs and pay a tuner the points of the tranny where the bolt up to the tranny mount broke. Thats when i flipped and said F*** it. i ripped everything of the car and decided i had it with it and thats when i put all y S*** fr sale. I later on sat down and decided i wasnt going to abandon ship just yet. I figuered the job was done bad let me correct their mistakes and not loose half of the money i spent on it. well i take it to a bad *** welder that deals with alot of custom welding for cars when i go pick up the tranny wiht the mount he tells me that tranny legs that connect to the tranny mount werent straight with the tranny mount one side of the tranny mount was slightly tilted to the front of the car and the other side to the back of the car. I was like thanks nice to know.

Well all that said everythig is back in the car i just test drove it today car is driving fine just gotta do some tweaks here and their butnothing major. I do want to make some power with the car just gotta check y engines compression to see if its good topush it into or near the 8's im taking it slow for now no need 2 rush things here i want the car to come out how its suppose 2. Once the car is ready completely i will post a thread with pics and videos of the car just give me some time.
