This same guy made over 400whp on a stock block KA, and ran 11's I believe. Somewhere between 21-25psi on a GT35R. He's pretty good at doing what he does.

He could buy a pre programmed ECU with wire harness for this swap from here:

http://vqswap.com/_wsn/page2.html

But there still will be some trouble......

I'm getting my ECU, engine harness & a few other things from VQswap. Most of the wiring is pretty straightforward, especially in an old 510, though probably easier in the 240.

The only "tricky" thing is getting the speedometer to work. It has to be done by putting a sensor on the driveshaft that counts the revolutions then have an interface convert that to speed.

What the drive shaft, and not the front wheels?

I guess it can be done in several locations, anything that revolves & directly correlates to speed. I'm deciding between Driveshaft or CV axle.

Wheels might be a pain because if you switch wheels you need to have a similar sensor mounted to all sets of wheels & it has to be in the same spot for all of them so the pickup can sense it (ie, different diameters are problematic).

Drive shaft will be innacurate. If you spin the rear wheels, the speedo will read like 500mph..lol..

Not sure, though I don't think so.
Before tackling this VQ swap in my 510 I had a KA24DE in it from a 240sx & the trans has a speed sensor on it, so I would assume that's how 240's get their speed reading. Also the guys at VQswap were the ones that suggested putting the sensor on the driveshaft since that's what they typically do when they do a swap in their shop.
