I'm with you N74DV. My Borla should be here in a couple weeks also. I CANT STAND WAITING!!!!!

Jay said he got his new video camera, so before i put the Borla on, im going to do a sound/video clip of the stock exhaust. Then swap it. And record the Borla "fresh." Then after it has had some burn in time, i'll record it again. That way we can compare the stock exhaust, to the 'fresh' borla, then a burnt in borla, and Jay's Stillen. All with the same camera, on the same day (not including burn in), in the same place.

URGH!!! I can't wait!!!

 

Do the tips stick out more than the stock tips or is it me? I wonder if that can be adjusted?

Yeah, this is why the first Injen dyno shows a gain of like 11hp, and a guy who dyno'd his Borla (webcarconnection) is saying that the rumors of 20+whp are true..

But please, since you like em so much, do stick with the Injens.

I'm going to do a recording of my Borla (when it gets here) with some recording equipment from work.

We've got a $2,000 shotgun mic that I'll feed into our uncompressed digital recorder.... I'll do a stock clip as well as Borla...

This will give a 100% accurate representation of the two....

Damn my Borla needs to get here!

 

You can post the sound file on imagestation.com. Make sure you change the filename to have a.mpg in the end. WHen we download it, we can save it as .wav and then hear it sooner!!

 

Hmm... it appears webcarconnection is going to be a tease like TXStyle!!!!

My Borla should arrive a few days earlier than everyone elses (ordered mine before the group buy was organized). Shop is saying just over a week out until it hits their door.

I promise I will have scans of my dynos (before and after), but cannot promise a sound clip... only way I can capture them is if I can nab my brother and his camcorder. The sweet thing about my dynos will be that I have done absolutely nothing performance wise to my car yet... the Borla will be the first performance mod. So, I'll have an accurate pure stock to exhaust mod comparison.

I really hope someone can post some dynos & sound clips before I get mine (cause another week and half is a long time to wait), but whether it occurs before then or not, I'll still post mine.

 

Im not trying to be rude, but this is the most retarded post yet. Between this one and the TX one we haev 9 pages of nothing.

There... sound clips of Borla dual exhaust...

 

Exhaust looks nice and sounds great too (mine is on order too), as for the dyno runs. Get the saved file from the dyno shop and post it here (or somewhere). Dynojet makes something called "Dynojet Run View" that allows anyone to view runs on their own PC. It's free!
