a newbie question about dyno graphs

Default a newbie question about dyno graphs

hey guys.. after being in this forum for a while, i occassionally see dyno graphs of special parts that are being tested... the problem is, i dont know how to read a dyno graph!! hahah i know.. sounds stupid but.. can anyone explain to me how to read a dyno graph and what does all the abbreviation on it stand for please? THANKS a lot!

Awesome question, I kind of understand the general idea (not enough to explain it) but I would also like to see if someone had the time to post a few example dyno's and maybe talk about a good RPM band (i think you know what I am talking bout) vs. a peaky one.

I guess we're all in the same boat. I don't know squat about reading dyno graphing.
