Whats the difference between rev up engine and non rev up engine

One revs up more than the other.

 

Come on guys hes new just answer it for him. The nonrevup was in 03-05 and the revup up was in 06. Now the rev up makes alot more power due to higher revs and the flux compacitor which also lets u run ur z on dog poop. Just make sure the methane content is high or u will have detonation.

revups came out in 2005 in some Zs (anniversary edition, maybe others) and all 6MT G35s (coupes and sedans).

Differences:

higher lift/longer duration intake and exhaust cams
higher rate progressive valve springs.
Variable intake and exhaust cam timing (regular VQs only have variable intake cam timing.)
upgraded oil pump
Stronger rod bolts
shorter runner intake manifold
higher rev limit (approx 7200 rpm)
front timing cover is different (to accomodate the exhaust cam phasers)
small added brace in oil pan
tighter second ring gapping on pistons


that's all I can think of right now.
