Default 08 Z clutch

I just recently bought my Z and at 800 miles I was hearing a weird rattling noise when I let the clutch out.. I went got it checked and it was a blown bearing inside the clutch and i got home and it started making the rattling noise again.. is that normal or should I just go back into the dealership?

It's normal. When I bought my 07 I had the same sound. I was told by many forum members that this is normal for our Z's. Dont worry about it and enjoy your ride.

It's the throwout bearing. Does the sound go away as soon as you push in the clutch? If so, then it's the TO bearing. All these cars do it.

Shouldnt really rattle if you push the clutch pedal down when turning off the car.

Whew, glad to see this is normal. The noise really is annoying though. Also happens for me at very very low RPMs under moderate throttle, ie, leaving it in third for a small turn and powering at the apex

Yeaa its normal. Mine makes a loud sound when I push in the clutch.. No matter what.... But I havn't had a problem driving so I know its normal.. My civic si was loud too sometimes.. It's a normal clutch thing. Turn your stereo up and you'll never hear it again..

It'll be a while before I do that, the engine note is the only music I need right now
