hmm. . my GF bought an APEXi turbo timer for na/turbo cars/for her sti. .it has an a/f function on it as well. .so i think i might just install that since it's new in the box. .but that switch does look nice an easy to use for a buck 20. .you cannot go wrong. .

no problem. .you know tho aem makes some type of kit to where i could use my original bung with their o2 sensor. .and it all plugs into my original o2 plug for the ecu then a seperate plug is for the guage. .but im tryen to find out and i'd have to dish out least 600 bucks for the whole thing. .man i hate making decisions. .

All are excellent units, at the end of the day it depends what you want it to do and where you want to mount it

If you want a straight forward gauge with no extra features, the AEM is awesome - far and away the most popular one we sell. The Innovate and PLX units are a bit more feature heavy for logging, etc.
I thought the AEM gauge was considered the more reliable and accurate of the two no??

hey hey. .i just got off the phone with PLX. .their new DM-SMAFR-100 guage with the unit. .will be able to use my existing o2 sensor bung hole, plus all i have to do is tap into the signal wire from an already available wire on their unit in order for my ECU to see that there is signal from an o2. .so i DO NOT HAVE TO TAP INTO MY EXHUAST!!. .yay. .now im really sold. ..i knew there was a waY!!!

I may just be nieve, but how is your ecu going to take to reading a wideband when it is designed for a narrowband? Narrowband on an 04.5+ is a no no, but wideband on an 03+ is ok?

Is the only difference b/w the SMAFR-100 and -200 the guage size (52 mm v. 60 mm) for a $50 price difference?

read the site, it will explain that it's set up so send narrow band signal for the ecu wire. .but read to the gauge in wide band. .

Thx. Do most opt for 52 mm or 60 mm guages? I know it may be dependent on mounting locatings, but the difference is size is not that great is it? Worth the extra $50?
