I'm getting my 08 Enthusiast 6MT in April & i did a lot of research on the reliabilities. I noticed some 07 Z have Tranny problem & 1 slave cyl recall already. Are there any 08 owners having the same problem as the 07 owners? Hopefully nissan improved the tranny on the 08.

 

what i heard was that only the early 07 models have had the tranny and slave cylinder issues thru a certain vin....pretty sure nissan fixed it for the 08 since not all 07's have the issue...

No recall on 08's slave cylinder. Not even all 07's were recalled. Nissan started putting in the improved part after enough hell was raised.

 

almost 4,000 miles and everything is just fine

 

No tranny issues on an 08 w/ 2800 miles....
