And another Borla impression.
Frankly I was disaipointed that the Borla Dual wasnt louder. What I can actually hear of it does sound very good, but it needs to be louder at WOT, I still hear gear whine over exhaust.
Install was very easy (including getting the stock exhaust off). The only trouble I had was that the resonators seem to be right/left specific. Just be sure you install seam side up and you should be OK. I jacked up the rear with a floor jack under the differintial and sat the rear tires on Rhino ramps.
I do feel a bit more power, not just up high but down low also. However if the ECU de-tunes mods like some are therorising; then its questionable wether or not its worth the money.

scanman, i just got my borla installed and think that the sound is perfect. the deeper throatier sound is just what i was looking for, and i think that is alot louder than stock. however, i can kinda understand the need for more volume out of it, but like i said, im satisfied. like most people ive yet to dyno it, but feel a little more power. overall, i think its the best sounding exhaust with the most gain, and at the cheapest price. to anyone who is thinking about getting the borla; get it, its a great exhaust and im more than happy with it, and more than likely you will be too.
Yes it is starting to come alive now that i'v put on a few miles, sounds a little louder now.
Still feels like I'm making power too. I did not reset ECU.
Some say the ECU Compensates and puts things back to stock form after mod install.
I'm happy with it.

First few miles, it sounded very close to the oem exhaust.
After 30 miles on mine, it sounds great. At WOT the sound compliments the AEM intake growl ... its actually a very similar sound.
Couldn't ask for anything more -- Anything louder and it screams aftermarket. I'd rather have it sound natural and aggressive than heavily altered to be loud (anyone can make a civic loud and deep).
It's kinda like the preference for breast implants that look natural, too much and it's too fake.
As for performance, I had my doubts about "feeling it" but I actually do feel something. I can actually feel a difference in torque more than HP. For a good before/after test on torque in the low rpms, drop it in 6th while moving and go WOT. It really feels like it picks up better at the high gear instead of bogging as much.

FYI guys.. as one who has had a Borla on the Z for 5000 miles, after about 2000 miles the Z sounded best. I keep on saying it and I'll say it again. Don't ***** until at least 1000 miles. By then youll be grinning.
I am changing out my single for the dual now. To think I'll have to wait for the muffler to burn in again agitates me
