My Borla Dual - Thoughts for the Undecided..
There's been dozens of threads about it so far, but I figured I'd give my own little detailed review for those who are still unsure.
Cost: I paid $680 shipped for the exhaust, at which price it's ridiculously inexpensive, considering you have other brand-name Y-pipes at near twice the cost..
Sound: Oh hell yeah. This exhausts takes some "finessing" to understand and appreciate. There is really a 3-tier sound setup, which I will attempt to briefly break down:
1000-2500 RPM = Deep low, resonating V8 grumbling sound... great head-turner, because it happens every time you take off at traffic lights.
2500-4000 RPM = Quiet like the stock.. which is good if you don't want attention since this is your "normal driving RPM".
4000+ RPM = The beast awakens.. if any of you have heard the AEM intake at WOT.. this is approximately what it sounds like... except it's even meaner and comes out of the exhaust. Quite intimidating, and another way to grab attention if you want it.
So basically, once you understand this, it's your choice as to what kind of sound you want to be producing at any given moment in time
I love that about this exhaust.
Power: I'd be very surprised if I don't drop my 1/4 mile times by .1-.2 seconds the next time I drag race. There's definitely a "plowing push" you can feel with this exhaust... it's sick, and the sound makes it even sicker.
If this helps anyone, let me know, I'm glad to give back to the community.. =) Oh, and a BIG THANKS to LaBree motorsports for prompt group buy delivery as promised!!

Awesome review, the only thing I'm worried about is if my SC whine will overpower the exhaust sound.
Seriously, I'm so excited about these mods I'm about to mess my pants. This is going to be friggin awesome.
