Default Gauge sensor mounting question . . . .

Hey Guys,

Have to mount a couple sensors for my Defi gauges, water temp and oil temp.

Now is it possible to mount the sensors without having to drain the fluids????

NOTE: I already have water and oil sensors in place that are getting replaced by these Defi's

The oil wont run out so no prob there ----The water will be fine also if you just drain a small amount so it is below the sensor level, where is that sensor??? on top ??? if so, if you drain just a qt it will be fine. Also ---use Perma-Tex Teflon paste sealant---tape sux

Sorry --misread ---Oil Temp not Pressure---your kinda screwed there

Well, to mount the water temp guage, most people tap into the upper rad hose, so you'll need to at least partially drain.

The oil sending unit will be mounted either in a oil pan spacer or a sandwich plate. so you'll need to partially drain that too.
