Default Advice needed for valve cover swap

I just painted a set of valve covers and I am ready to install them. I haven't been this deep into the engine before and need the advice of the experts.

What precautions do I need to take to do the swap?
Do I need to drain any fluids?
Do I need any new gaskets or sealant?
Any special adjustments?
Any special way to remove the coils?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I would replace the valve cover perimeter seals (the spark plug hole seals are integral to the cover itself). If you painted used covers, make sure the seals surrounding those spark plug holes are in good shape and clean - they are known to leak.

Coil packs just unbolt with the bolts on top, nothing to it. I would label them so you can put them back on the same cylinder they came off of, but its not neccessary.

Its a pretty straightforward job.
