I was just curious if anyone out there knows if this is a common problem, or if there is any sort of a factory bulletin on this?? I've seen this on two seperate Track Edition cars now, when you shift up into 3rd pretty fast (Not speed shifting!!), and it will crunch badly. If you shift real slow it does fine. I know when I drive the car, I have yet to miss a gear, but that may have happened when someone else had driven the car? It seemed to be fine until then.... ARGH!! I am wanting to install a better clutch anyway, so I might go through the transmission just to inspect the synchros, etc., but if this is a factory recall or something, I would rather have taken care of properly. Thanks for any input or advise!!

Take it to your dealer. Seems like many people have had new transmissions put in.

I, personally, had a 2nd gear grind problem that only happened when I shifter fast at high rpms. Took it to my dealer, got a new transmission, problem gone.....
