$945./set. I don't see a line forming yet. Ace, maybe you can be the first?

Wow, Strangly reminds of Pulstar, just japanese sounding and 6 times the cost. I would be interested to see dyno's though.

Interesting..I just read about these in the latest "Modified Mag" I think. That is pretty spendy. I'd like to see someone's results first.

it would be nice to see a more detailed description of the okada piece by the manufacturer/vendor with dyno graphs to boot. Until then, it seems like snake oil to me.

So I've asked around a bit about these Okada Project coils...

I've been working with Shawn Church (very knowledgeable and good tuner btw, which many of you on the forum already know) on some custom Osiris maps for my G and I asked him about them. I hope SC doesn't mind me sharing what he said in the e-mail, but he has this to say about them:

"oh, on the Okada stuff, we had done a dyno day where they tested them on some S2000s. The turbo car actually showed some nice gains, but the NA car was a wash IMO. I wouldn't spend money on them unless I was running a 350+ whp FI setup."

show me a single Z that has max'd factory coils yet

a DLI + stock coils are all any Z could realistically ever need..the stock coils happen to work quite well

+1. I find it funny when people run out and buy a new 'blaster/plasma/whatever' coil as one theiri first mods. IIRC the first all motor honda to run 9's.....................had a stock honda coil from either a type r or gsr. think about that before spending close to $1k.
