What's the part responsible for clutch chatter?
Dual mass flywheel, dual disk clutch, heavy duty throwout bearing, lightened flywheel... these are all the answers I have read. WTF?
Help, Ive been searching for 45 min now, and I have to go to bed! I want to learn more about the clutch chatter in my 2006 350z. I learned:
-Its normal
-It happens at low RPM
-Just drive differently to solve the "problem"

I think you're referring to drivetrain chatter, instead of clutch chatter. Clutch chatter is mainly caused by the increased coefficient of friction on the material used on the clutch disc.
Drivetrain chatter is the noise you hear when you switch to a lighter flywheel. It is cause by the engine pulses resonating in the transmission. The tighter the tolerances in the transmission, the less the noise. Sometimes switching to a heavier gear oil alleviates the noise.
Know that it's common for the G35 and 350Z to have some drivetrain chatter, even brand new.

Its the vibration that people in hundreds of posts decribed as "clutch chatter." You know, like the vibration during low RPM acceleration, (kinda of like it has a resonant frequency) It has done this since brand new.
If it is "drivetrain chatter" then maybe I should be searching for that!
But the only thing I dont understand is that you mentioned it has to do with a lighter flywheel. Im all stock!

Since you play the drums, you may be familiar with vibration and frequency and resonance. The effects from changing the tuning.
