Default auto tranny owners

Is this where the tranny fluid level should be after the car being parked overnight? I checked it in the morning and this is what i saw it was where the red arrow pointed.

its daytona blue and yes the engine was running when i pulled the dip stick out.

Why are you checking the trans oil on a cold engine, shouldn't you be checking it when it's hot?

You have to check it when its hot and it should be at the 2nd notch from the bottom of the dipstick....
