Default Borla install?

I installed my Borla yesterday and so far I like it. Although I hope what everyone says about it sounding better after break in is true. My question is: When you connected any two pipes together and tightened the clamp, did the gaps on the bigger pipe close or were there still gaps? I was trying to tighten the clamps to 32lbs, but it just seemed like I was tightening too much.

I tightened them with an impact. It probably tightened to 65-70 lbs. I dont think at thirty you are tight enough. I have had them on for a week and no problems. They do get louder and deeper as they get broken in.
