and what does this thread prove?

that no 2 cars can ever be expected to react to the same oils in identical ways...no matter who makes it, and no matter what fanboys tell you what you should or shouldn't run

 

I run Mobil 1 15W50 silver cap in my Z32. It`s one of the top oils in the Z32 community. I wonder how it would fare in the Z33?

 

I used almost every oil made, at one time or another in my life. Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference, and got long engine life from every one of them. Change it every 3-5K miles, and it won't make any difference anyway.

 

Ive used RP 5w30 for the last 2 and half years and it doesnt burn but maybe a half quart at the most between oil changes and runs great. My car had 48k on it when i got it and now it is at 88k. Runs great.

 

I used RP 5W30 on my last oil change and I noticed a slight loss in MPG. Good thing is that my engine hasn't burned any oil. I actually felt the car a bit better when I had Mobil 1 5W30. For my next oil change, due in about 600 miles, I am going to use ENEOS 5W40 oil. This is a Japanese racing oil we recently got at my job. This is a reputable oil in Japan so I'm gonna give it a try.
