Alrighty fellas, I drive an 05 anniversary AT Z. And I got it new so I know the transmission hasn't been under any real stress, but for some reason it keeps giving me trouble. I am starting to regret going with the auto. Isn't there some way I could put in a 5spd from the 300zx or one of the manual 350z trannys? Thanks guys!

 

It will prob be cheaper and less of a headache if you just trade it in and get a manual. I too have an auto and thought about doing the swap, but it just wont be worth it

 

Don't waste your time/money.

You just think your having hell, try an early 6spd....HA

anywho, trade it in if ur wanting a change.

Trade it if you want to go manual. It will be cheaper now and cheaper later when you finally do sell the thing since the no one is going to buy a cobbled together manual transmission with an automatic VIN 350z

 

LOL you buy the parts and ill do the swap for 500 bucks. Its not hard to do and I do good work. it won't look like *** either.
