Default beginner question...

is a break in period neccessary for a car?...if so how long til the "z" breaks in? How should you drive it before you break it in?...no flooring?*automatic*

Differing opinions will present themselves while at a posting board, but Nissan recommends a maximum of (rather below) 4K RPMs for the first 1,200 miles and not to leave the engine idling for too long.

For concrete evidence of this, check your owner's manual. The information is in print.
