Default Clutch problem

ok I bought car off a guy on thsi forum today but he told me the clutch in my car was fine well! the transport company called me today and told me that the clutch is gone. so i need to know how to tell if its a slave cylinder or master cylinder or the clutch.

If you have trouble disengaging it's either slave or master, change them both. If you can put it in gear and have no power OR it slips under power then the friction plate is gone. If it makes a loud howling noise while the clutch pedal is pressed it's the throw out bearing.

apperently it is not engaging. how will i know before i take it apart if i need a flywheel or is there a way?
