Default Who has the JUN Flywheel installed?

I had the JUN Flywheel installed yesterday while my transmission was being replaced and I have a quick question. When in gear below 2500 RPM there is a "rattling" sound coming from the transmission. Is this because the stock clutch doesn't work well with a light flywheel or is this just the sound a light flywheel makes? Other then the noise I am happy with the flywheel, as for performance increase I haven't driven the car enough yet to comment.

Thanks in advance,

I know I am not the only one with a JUN Flywheel installed...I would imagine this question can be answered by anyone with a NISMO or JWT Flywheel.

there was something on this a couple days ago...i don't remember exactly, but it has something do with the fact that you switched from a double layer flywheel, or something...its a normal sound if i remember correctly. sorry i couldn't be of more help.

Doesn't appear to be online yet, but Sport Compact Car I think put one on their project Z, and said that the transmission was noticably noisier, but that was normal and that the stock heavy flywheel was designed to reduce some of that vibration/noise.

Thank you all for replying, I didn't get a chance to drive the car much today because I was at the Yankee game. But so far I have to say the car revs much quicker and seems to have more of a jump when the accelerator is pressed. The noise worried me a little in the begining but I have gotten over it. Words can't describe the difference in weight, look, and quality of the JUN compared to the stock flywheel. The stock flywheel is so heavy and has so many welds on it that it looks poorly constructed, not that looks really matter on a flywheel since you can't see it. As for real performance increase in numbers I have no idea and I don't have access to a dyno, the only one I know of is a little expensive.

Also, has anyone put any thought into installing an oil catch can? I just installed one, more for looks and because I had store credit (long story) looks nice. The reason I ask because while taking the old PCV hose off I noticed oil in the tube on both sides, so maybe it will actually do something in the end. Who knows but I was surprised to see the oil on the intake manifold side because it's a few inches higher than the valve cover side.
