Default Installed JWT Combo and more but something wrong...lots of questions Help!

*Condensed version*

Just installed JWT Clutch/Fly/ Techna stainless line Plus Redline MTL/ML fluid.

1. Before we replaced the clutch with the JWT I maybe had to put the pedal down 20% of the way to disengage the clutch and there was no free play(pushing the pedal down more than 20% yielded no difference and it went into all gears just fine) Now with the new parts in I have to push the pedal to the floor because the clutch disengages at like 90% of the way in and just even moving it off the floor and its engages so there to me what I think is a ton of play and the pedal is 100x easier to push on. Problem Fixed! Had to adjust pedal.

Is this normal? Do I have to adjust the clutch pedal? Can it be adjusted? It feels easier to push in but disengages at the floor or a hair off.

2. With the Redline fluid its now harder to put into 4th, 5th, and 6th. It feels like a two stage engagement where it goes over a grove and then go into the gear, very noticable from 5th to 6th. Can also feel the Piece to prevent going into R.

Is this normal? PROBLEM FIXED! had to move shift plate over, now it shifts smoother than before with the Redline fluid.

3. Diff also with Redline fluid looked like a million metal flakes came out with the original fluid. I've hurd of the TSB for a metallic clicking noise It sounds like metal shim being tapped lightly.

If this TSB is taken care of can it destroy the LSD? Problem Fixed! Called stealership, Metallic Clicking noise had nothing to do with LSB but instead Just part of normal rearend noise. Flakes are likely due to many times at the drag strip.

4. While it was in storage it started to act up and now happens every time i start the car when it's already warm. (It its cold it catch's and warms up) Like When I start up my Z instead of the tach needle going down to the ideal rpm which i think is around 600-700 it just misses and goes right down the 0 and stalls. I've already ran the car enough (stablizer out of gas) and disconnected the battery twice because it died.

Is there something wrong?
If I give it a little gas b4 it goes to stall its fine.
Problem Fixed! Just gave it a few hundred miles and it all caught back up and is normal now. Must have been in limp mode or something.

Bleed the clutch, it sounds like there is still air in it. With my jwt clutch and flywheel i had to adjust the pedal travel all the way out because it also engaged at the floor.

sorry, off topic but i've read that the JWT combo is "louder" or tends to make "noises" more than the oem. have you noticed this?

This is a given ---do you want performance or do you want a Cadillac ? Nissan makes a car that will try to please all the people. Some mod to improve performance. Its your choice as to what you want. I run it and have installed a dozen or more and everyone is impressed with the outcome

+1 to what eazzy said. He just installed mine a week ago. Yes there is noise.... but who cares, the performance outweights it. I honesty didnt notice it till I actually payed attention to it. If your real **** about noises you might notice it more.

Elaborate on moving the shift plate? I have this problem as well [on my second tranny]. I know of moving it all the way to the left to avoid that notch going into 5th, but wouldn't have thought it would affect any other gears.

Yeah I just took the plate and pulled it as far left as possible so that when i go to 5th it hits the plate and goes right up instead of going all the way over to the wall edge and then going up. so its more like it moving almost diagonally instead of over and up. Also I moved my seat back a little cause the way i was sitting i always wanted to push over and up rather than more like over/up all at once.

Like if you look at the shifter when its all striped out so you can see the plate, there that square shape on the edge on the right, that piece now i have just slightly hitting the plate. Also the Redline fluid is a miracle.
