Heres a pic of mine. I made a custom bracket that bolts to the front cover of the engine. Worked out and great and i think it looks even better. I also put a small foam filter inside the catch can to help add with catching oil. One line will come from your pcv valve on the valve cover to the can and then out of the can into the intake manifold where the hose that was originally on the pcv was going into the manifold.

that does look good, i was going to get that catch can. it looks like it is mounted sideways though...am i wrong? if it is sideways, how does this affect it? also, can you get a closer view of the bracket...looks great and i may be doing this very soon.

Thanks! As far as being sideways i would suggest putting a foam filter in it like i did. I just got some foam and cut it to fit in side the can. I also change the foam filter each time i change my oil so it works out very nice. I should have taken pics of the bracket when i was making it but i dont have any of it close up.

Well it never even gets a quarter of the way full. It has a sight tube on the side and oil doesnt even show up in there. The foam soaks in all up.

that's not a good sign

I've had my ARC can (the one under the strut brace) installed for about 2.5 years. Countless track days, dyno sessions, probably 35k miles since I installed it...I've never even seen anything in the site tube, nor is there anything more than a tiny blop of dirty colored water (oil particles mixed with some condensation) that has accumulates - I've yet to even drain it (mine is connected per their instructions)

damn I wonder whats going on, I better get everything checked out b4 sc install, dunno where to start tho. The can wasn't full of oil, just that stuff u saw, but a lot more than just a blotch. Recently the tubes got "discolored" as well. I just thought it was doing its job, but now I'm worried?

Mine catches oil blowby inconsistantly. Over the same length of time/milage~ Sometimes there is nothing in my can, and at other times I get a couple tablespoons worth. I dunno if it's ambient temps, driving conditions, down shifting or what that causes the inconsistancy...

I had a compression check done a few months ago and had @ 145ish across all cylinders.

chromesilver6: I installed my can the same way but i'm using the other Greddy style ones but the hose actually gets "crushed" when the engine is idling ( the gas hoses you used as well ). Just wondering if there is any negative side effect of this? cause i have the 15mm tank rather than the 9mm tank like the one you have.

Any opinion guys?
