Default Washers for Powerlab plenum spacer

How many washers did you guys used on each stud/bolt to clear the strut from the plenum? I'm useing 2 at the moment and it doesn't clear it. If i use 3 then my strut would touch my hood. Anyone have any advice?

Are you using the stock strut tower bar? We use 2 washers per for our installs, but it also requires adjustment of the bar itself. Have you tried that?

Yes, i am useing the stock strut. no, i havn't tried adjusting the bar since it fitted on the bolts properly. But i'll re-adjust the bar and see if it helps. Am i suppose to tighten the bar to make it shorter or longer?

Standing from the passenger side fender, you want to turn the adjustment bolt clockwise (IIRC) to raise the bar up off of the plenum. Too far and it'll rub the hood, just FYI. Really just go a few turns either way, and you'll easily be able to tell which raises it up, and which lowers the bar down.

I have 3 washers on each bolt for (both sides). It's a PIA to adjust since you have to put it on and adjust the bar as mentioned above. I had to shorten the bar up to get it on the studs/align threads, then adjust the bar off the plenum.
