Nismo is quoting 9+ HP through a range of RPMs, with 13HP as their max increase. But they are not saying where that 13HP is on the range of RPM, and I doubt it is at the peak of HP for the engine. Not to mention it costs twice as much...........
Too much is put into Dyno numbers.
Too many variables.
The Dyno was designed as a tuning tool especailly when you are lean or fat.
It's a good motor mod, it will make your car faster in the 1/4 (proven) and add HP (proven.)
The damper is the only unresolved issue other than that it's a good mod but huge numbers are made by a combo of mods done right and the brand is proven. You need to determie your goal of what you want to do wth your car before you start swapping things.
Look at me, I got a CAI and I sold it on here because I don't need it with the SC. It has a CAI.
SO it was a waste of time and money in the long run but fun while it lasted.
Now I have to rethink my exhaust bur I think it would work, it's 2.5 all the way back with a staright through and resonator delete. So I would say, define yor goal for the car first and save money and headache.
Good luck.
