I think poweraddict with their rb26dett swap and a single turbo upgrade are making in the 600hp range and skidazzle is supposed to be making 450-600 with a custom twin turbo kit

Yea I saw your car at the CT meet. It sounds pretty mean on the road too.

Is the 12.44 what you got with 570 going to the wheels? That's a sick time, but I would have thought it would be slightly lower. Maybe with flywheel and clutch you'll have better power delivery.

If you don't mind divulging, can you PM me with how much the tab was for your mods?

Oh, bluefish, I forgot to ask what you're gonna do for engine management?

Not if they never build the damn car. I contacted them months ago about that y-pipe deletion piece they were fabricating. Remember the thread where they promised the dyno?

Yea, no dyno yet.

I think the 570hp is at the flywheel.

Ah, so figure closer to 500 at the wheels. Still would be too much for the stock clutch, right?

500rwhp wouldnt be enough to push the z, a 3200lb car into the tens but you should be doing alot better than 12.4 you should be making like a 12flat with 500 wheel

i have a friend who had a 99 z28 with bolt ons it was making 330 at the wheels, weighed 3700 lbs with him in it an it ran 12.20's all day long on dot drag tires...

usually the ls1 guy's in the tens have lightend their cars, but they still weigh about the same as the 350z....
Sure buddy...a Z06 Corvette hits mid 12's has 335 RWHP and weighs 3150 lbs.

we need to break this up into classifications, NA, FI, N20 blah blah blah

13.2 at 104.X with some really messed up slicks NA, just the borla, nismo r-tune and all the matts removed out of the car. cams will be here soon, i want the plenum but don't wanna wait and going to get the ECU when they do a GB. i want a low 13 on streets or high 12's once all is said and done. i figure with the cams and ecu and the plenum i should be over 300whp. gonna wait for the equal length headers.

10's are very achievable for a car with 500+ rwhp and the right suspension setup. You guys all like to talk horsepower, but have to remember that torque fits into the equation just as much. It's the same reason why there are a lot of Supras out there putting 600 hp to the wheels and running in the mid 11's, even with traction. A Mustang or LS1 with 500 rwhp is typically a high 10 second car. A Z on the other hand probably wouldn't be. I'm thinking a half second or so behind those cars.
