Default Competition Clutch Issues!

I had a Competition clutch/flywheel installed with my recent build and TT setup. Motor now has 2700 miles on it and still tuned on only low boost. It seem s the engagement point keeps changing. Randomly a few days ago I couldnt get it into gear. Thats when I first noticed it. There after it seemed like the clutch pedal was going to far past the engagement point so i was kind of like looking for a sweet spot to shift. Now the engagement point is real high and my shifts are real notchy. Anyone got any input?

adjust your clutch pedal from the inside firewall. it is a 12mm nut. see how that works for ya.

It's not the clutch...its the clutch pedal adjustment. Also could be some air in the clutch hydrolic system. Could also be your slave cylinder going bad....as they are prone to do that.

We have installed clutches...all different brands....where upon installation, there is practicall no pedal at all! A little adjustment of the clutch pedal, and they come perfectly back to life.

replaced the master and slave, have spent more time with this clutch than any other ever! maybe not the clutch, but i'm thinking otherwise... if I had more time I'd work on asap, been so busy- sorry Jason- keep me posted, let me know if you want to swing by and I can keep playing with the adjustemtn, as we have already done

Thanks to this thread ( https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....shorten+clutch) I got brave and messed around with it. Much better but could still use some fine tuning.

I also have a competition clutch & flywheel combo on my NA Z with a lot of trouble with engaging gears and notchy at times. I already replaced the slave cylinder twice with no success. Would you mind if I ask you which direction you move the pedal stroke, shorter or longer and how may turns you did on the bolt.

Well it was better than it was but after running a few errands it seems it needs more adjusting. I think it will probably take a few times befoer it right. Ill let you know how many threads left or right after tomarrow when I have more time to get under there again.

Well after try to adjust the clutch about 4 or 5 times my pin and nut are stripped. When I get it to a normal clutch push and release everything is fine but third gear grinds for the most part. When I get it to where all gears are fine and 3rd doesnt grind the pedal is mushy, doesnt always return properly and then self adjusts. So frustrated.

So Im still having clutch issues. Sometimes it wont dissengage. Ill have to cold start it at times to dissengage. Sometimes I start the car and it feels like it has a new tranny, shifting flawlesly. Took the car to Nissan had them replace the push rod/clevis assembly and had them flush/bleed master cylinder. I bled the clutch fluid. What could be causing this?

and with the greddy wastegates in the way of the tranny..pulling the tranny will be a several hr job
