clutch problems at the track?
tonight i just went to the track and i ran for the first time and got a 14.08 and then the sec. time i went my cluch got stuck down and it would come up very slow and felt very soft than what it was before, and there was a smell and everything. So i thought maybe its hott and causing things to mess up. i went and let the car cool off for a while and it work just fine. I went back to the track and the same things happend again. Do you no what i maybe doing wrong?? or maybe i broke something?

There is actually a recal on it too for the 2007.
Call your local dealer and have them preform the recall on your clutch.
Ive never had any problems with my clutch (knock on wood)...but my advisor said the recall was for the clutch not coming back up when it gets overheated.

well see today i took it into my dealer and they guy thought their could be a deffect on the master cyclinerd and he check and their was nothing for it. at the end of the day when i went to go get my car the guy said their was just air in the clutch line and thats why i was getting it and now that you said that clutch could be over heating. i think that could be the cause.

there is a warranty on the slave cylinder. they shouldnt even ask a question. if you go in there, tell them your clutch is falling to the floor and want them to do the slave cylinder recall work, they will. do it before you go to the track, why waste money next time going to the track when it will just happen again?

seriously, im not sure what you dont understand about this. its free. its a recall. all you need to do is go to the dealer, tell them you want the recall done and they will do it. no money from you, just a better performing car.

"Zs" have MT/clutch problems at the track, in the city, in the freeway, in the
country...It's not the setting, it's the "Z's" MT.

the slave caused the clutch to slip, boiling the fluid and that is why there is air in the line. same thing happens if you put the car into 4th going 80 and try letting out the clutch slowly without a rev match, but that would be your fault.
