Default sticking clutch

got an 06 enthusiast. goin to the dealer for some maintenance. wanted to bring my problem up again regarding the sticking of my cluth/half way depressed problem. it can be pretty dangerous because with the clutch depressed like that i can't control the speed for a couple seconds. they told me before it was the clutch gettin too hot and it sticks.

sounds legit but at the same time it shouldn't be happening. what to tell them? there aren't any recalls on this problem, right? thanks for any input.

Try some Motul 600 fluid - after I had my Crawford headers installed I had the same problem due to higher temps - instant fix. Although if you are stock, not quite sure why this is happening to you.

When it heats up, they stick to the floor. I have an 06 enthusiast. At the racetrack one night mine, a G35 and another 350Z all had the same problem. Last weekend I was in Mobile and downshifted to get on the highway, but missed gears and grabbed second, immediately depressed clutch and went to 3rd, but clutch stuck, and had to use my foot to pull it back.

Better fluid and SS lines will cure that problem. This issue had been discussed many times.

Mine just started doing this, is it a huge problem? I assume my exhaust is heating it up, but I have never had a problem until now. I am just a little scared about driving far. It's a coincidence that it happened to me in downtown mobile twice. Could it be from a leak in the exhaust? I have noticed that I have a little more rasp lately, but nothing on the down rev.

weird, thats the problem the 07's have, a recall in fact for the slave cylinder. Had mine replaced twice for that problem.

I might bring it to Nissan this week, but it's usually just a waste of time to deal with them.
