Default JUN Flywheel Pics

Well i got the JUN Lightweight Flywheel installed finally. Car is alot easier to shift and i can feel a difference in the acceleration. I LIKE IT... You do hear a little chatter when the car is at idol, but nothing that is too loud. I have not driven it alot yet. Taking it to the track this coming weekend to see if i can beat my 13.9 1/4 mile time.

here are a few pics of the old and the new

Default JUN Flywheel

The JUN Flywheel is by far my favorite mod so far. About 2000 miles on it so far and not a problem. A lot of chatter at idle, though and between 2000 and 3500 rpm there is a little grinding sound which the dealership says is normal due to the lack of dual mass on the JUN flywheel. Congrats on the flywheel. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Sometimes it gets annoying, but sometimes little things occur when you mod your car and the reward of the flywheel far outways the chatter.

Yeah, i have had it under my couch for sometime now. I guess you could say i forgot about it. ( out of site out of mind ).. But now that it is on, i do love it. Thanks again for all your help Kyle, You guys really pride your selves on custormer service and it shows.

As far as the difference, i got on it alot this morning and i do notice a difference in accelaration. The rpm just rise so much quicker. To me it makes the car feel like it is lighter and it shifts alot smoother at WOT redline shift aswell. Takes away alittle of the sluggishness if you start out at a lower rpm. Good stuff, me likes

Hope to hit the track this weekend

I absolutely love the JUN Flywheel. It feel lighter, shifter is more responsive and revving is faster and smoother. I can't wait for a clutch to come out, I'm missing my daily left foot workout.

Default No more chatter

After a few days of driven the car with the new flywheel installed, the chatter that i heard the first day is now gone. I guess it had to break in some what. I was alittle worried that the chatter would be there all the time. I am glad it is gone.. I LOVE THIS MOD.. Car seems so much more powerful.

Default No Chatter Huh?

Aceman, no chatter at all anymore? Maybe my transmission needs to be looke at. Mine chatters at idle and then makes a sort of grinding sound from 1500-3000 rpm. Even the guys at Zeil motorsports say its normal due to the lack of dual mass! I wish it made no noise, though. It hasn't worsened in 4 months either. Maybe I should take it to Performance Nissan in California, since they won't hastle me about my mods.

Yeah the chatter is gone, im glad that it is. Was not much on that aspect of the mod. I just hope it does not come back. First day there was alot of chatter, second day less and 3rd and 4th day it was gone. And i have ran the **** out of it and everything seems to be holding up fine, lol maybe you need to run it harder
