Default knock sensor, where is it???

i looked on the service manual, cant seem to tell where they are. i currently have a no start condition and i am being told to check the knock sensor, that a bad sensor would cause the issues i have.

In the block valley between the heads. It will be a small roundish black plastic thing. Sits on a raised square area. You will have to pull the intake manifold to get at it IIRC. Can't miss it.

Dont think it would cause a no start condition, but these cars never cease to amaze me sometimes.

a cam or crank pos. sensor would cause no start conditions. Knock sensor is dooubtful. I'd check the other 2 first.

Hopefully it's one of those sensors Sam. I just got that info from a tech third hand.
