question for those with Borla true-dual
Does anyone know how the piping inside of the Borla muffler looks? Since its a true-dual, I presume the two inlet pipes dont open up to each other. Seems like there's a lot more bends in the exhaust pathway inside the muffler than appears in, for example, the NISMO exhaust. This is true whether the exhaust comes out the opposite side or same side of the muffler relative to the inlet.
Just curious, thats all, since it doesn't seems that straight flowing as for example, the Injen or NISMO exhausts. Granted, I'm no exhaust designer and I know the Borla guys know their stuff, but its an interesting layout nonetheless. (Perhaps they kept a little more backpressure than Injen for more low end grunt?)
I'm leaning toward the NISMO exhaust (9 lbs lighter than stock). It cost a little more, but weighs about the same as the Borla. I'm still waiting on some HP comparisons since I heard both sound equally good. I can wait for that Sport Z magazine comparo, because I'm making my order right after I see that!

I cant remember where, but I;'ve seen a diagram of the borla, and inside the muffler case, its definitely 2 different, non-intersecting paths. Kind of like 2 mufflers in one cannister.
