Yes it does going up hill is when I hear it the most. I can hear it all the time under 2k RPMS once it goes over that it goes away. I press the pedal maybe half way and just starts pinging. If I hold the throttle were it is it will ping till I get the top of the hill then there is less load on the car and the RPM's will start to go over 2k.. Man its so loud
That makes no sense this is the first car I have owned that has pinged forget
about up the hill to my house. If I'm driving on a flat raod and low rpms and step on the gas to move it pings also. It pings all the time its just easier and more apparent driving up hill. I'm not towing any thing and the car is not struggling to go up hill. If no ones car liked high load and low RPMS we all would be replacing motors like it was going out of style. There is something definitly wrong here and was looking to see if someone had a posibale anwser.
