Just an FYI, the Tanabe for the Z does not at ALL sound like the one for a Honduh. My friend had one on his Integra GSR and it was so damn loud and annoying.

I have a video clip of the Tanabe on my friends 350Z. I almost like the sound better than my Injen. But I still love my Injen exhaust.

If someone can host it let me know. It's about 7mb.

if it can be hosted...and you can post it on this thread...that would be great. i'd like people to hear the different between this exhaust and a "fart can" exhaust!

thanks man!

I've seen the Tanabe exhaust dyno'd on two different cars months apart and both lost power.

It too bad you were into "riced" out Hondas because you don't seem to know what Honda drivers really think a good exhaust sounds like. I don't know a single person who would put a fart can on their car. You do seem to have the market cornered on stereotyping FF cars and their drivers. Get off your high horse.

I think you need to calm down man...your statement has much more animosity than havabooz's statement, he didnt personally attack your car, so unless you car is "riced" out, then ther's no need to take offense to his comment.

i have the tanabe on my car right now, and i LOVE the sound!!! not fart can at all! remarkable improvment over stock! but after reading a post that someone wrote (i cant remember who?? ) about the injen w/o cats, ive decided to change over! i like a car to SCREAM at wot!! some people dont care for it......but i NEED it! my wife refers to the exhaust note im looking for as "HELLO OFFICER!!" i paied right around $800 shipped back when i got it, at a local tuner shop. im SURE you can get it for less by now! i bought it before the borla was even released! and exhust prices have dropped since then! the last place i saw it for sale was optauto.com for like $830 i belive, but dont quote me! id love to sell it to one of you guys looking for one for say, $600+s/h! but then i wont have an exhaust on my car! so i NEED to pick up the injen before i sell it! but i need the money from selling it to pick up the injen! (see my delema?!?) kinda funny hua? im sure ill be getting the injen one way or another real soon, so just a heads up that ill have a tanabe up for grabs soon! unless someone with the injen wants to trade??? (had to ask!)

Sent you the file. I guess it'll be best if you start a new thread for the video.

Honestly I think the only way to really know is to have clips of the car driving, we need people to record a borla and other brands from another car driving next to it, thats the real sound, standing still exhaust sounds are a lot different than actually driving through the gears in my opinion.. so far borla is winning for me since cheap and sounds decent but I need to hear anything in person first to make a decision..
